To One Far Away |
|
Here are two versions of this poem.
The one at the far right was supplied by Linda Mullins, daughter of Elsie Barnett's daughter Catherine. The handwritten original did not have a title. |
The self-same moon above us
Tho we’re many miles apart, The self-same God to love us And hold us to His heart. So do not fret or worry, We’re all in our Father’s care, Whatever trials befall us He gives us strength to bear. |
The self-same moon above us,
Tho we’re many miles apart; The self-same God to love us And hold us to His heart. So do not fret or worry, We’re all in the Father’s care; And for whate'er befalls us He gives us Grace to bear. |
